About This Event

On May 12, 2026, Canada Five Star Professionals Association (CFSPA) hosted a Tie-Dye Workshop in Scarborough in collaboration with CFSO, CultureLink, and SCCC. Members gathered for a fun and interactive cultural experience to explore the traditional art of Yunnan tie-dye and enjoy the creative process together. Originating from Yunnan, China, tie-dye is a traditional textile craft that represents creativity, patience, and cultural heritage. Through folding, binding, and dyeing techniques, each participant created their own unique design — “One fold, one dye, one unique pattern.” During the workshop, members learned about the history and cultural significance of Yunnan tie-dye while expressing their creativity through hands-on activities. A special thank you to CFSO, CultureLink, and SCCC for their support and collaboration in making this meaningful event possible.
